This suspenseful sequel to THE CAT DANCERS is full of imaginative plot twists and likable characters. Hill narrates the intriguing story with intensity, showing his skill in creating unique and appropriate voices for the variety of characters, from mountain boys and members of the malevolent and incestuous Creigh clan, including matriarch Grinny, to federal agents and park rangers. Ex-cop Cam Richter's interplay with all these characters will keep listeners engaged, especially as the realistic dialogue is enhanced by Hill's vocal skills.
